Uniform
What to wear?
Scouts wear a uniform during their weekly meetings. This consists of their uniform jumper (Beavers and Cubs) or shirt (Scouts and Explorers) with their badges sewn on, which they pair with their scarf, known as a necker. Along with their shirts, Scouts should wear dark bottoms and appropriate footwear. Optional accessories such as hats, hoodies, are also available.
Where do I buy my uniform?
You can buy your uniform from the District Scout Shop in Broomhill Road, Dartford DA1 3EW. If possible, please buy your uniforms from our shop, as all profits go back to Dartford Scouting. The Scout Shop is located on the first floor of Scout House, and is open every Monday evening during term time from 7 pm to 9 pm. Uniform can also be purchased through the Scout Store.
Where do my badges go?
Please see the illustrations below, if in doubt please ask before sewing them on.
